Here is a question to the people who have medical marijuana card in California.
Do you guys know if the state keeps record of the people, like name, address, social etc... who obtain these cards? Can this be pulled from records and used against you in the future while you are trying to get clearance or a government job, or is it like every other medical procedure, between the doctor and the patient?
all information between you and your doctor should AS IN SHOULD be confidential. That doesn't mean that the goverment cannot find out.
about 95% if not all goverment jobs test for drugs also.
I'm pretty sure there is in fact a list that can screw you out of jobs in the future. I could be wrong....
As a card holder, I can safely assume I will never be getting a government job in the future.
I read an email this morning from a disabled vet that had his patient dr confidentiality was broken bc the va dr he saw got pissed at him. She called in the cops and told them he used mj so they questioned him about havin mj on him at the time. He did not have any with him. The dr was not his dr just a fukin PA that went and looked up his med records and took it upon herself to inform the cops. I understand that this is not related to mmj cards but thought it may be relevant. Dr patient confidentiality is suppose to be jus that so it can get out jus by somebody being a bitch!
