-
A lot of Crossfit drills train grip strength and kettlebell training help a ton.
-
what is more incredible about that video is that it said he hits harder than some heavy weight boxers.

Seriously. LOL. The stuff that sports science says makes me scratch my head. I'm like, well, if it's like that, maybe these MMA guys really CAN make it in boxing.

just because you can hit hard doesn't mean you can make it in boxing. Theres a bit more to it than that.

I would say some can do good like your Din Thomas's, Nick Diaz's , and Paul Daley's types that have put a incredible amount of time into there stand-up. Boxers box and box only for hours and hours for years and years. Just hitting them in sparring is a bitch when you cant throw them off with kicks, takedowns, and thai clinching, or whatever you can think of thats not allowed in boxing. Stuff they havnt seen a million times.
Has nothing to do with Gray Maynard or grip strengh but I though it was interesting.

ya i got more then that in my high school gym class, but still the rope climb was pretty bad ass.

But dude, a 155'er who hits as hard as a heavyweight? I'm sure he could do something in boxing. LOL. I'm doubtful though.
I'm being a little facetious in my previous post. I'm insinuating that sports science can occasionally make BS statements.
