I was watching Denny show the "Rolling Thunder" and he said that the monoplata is a very powerful move. Ive never had anyone do it to me so I have no idea how that sub feels. I was just wondering if its one of those moves that will tear something if you let it go? Or if its more of a pain and if you have a high pain tolerance youll be able to fight through it. Looks like a very effective move and I would imagine Marcelo wouldnt endorse it if it wasnt high percentage.
It is very high percentage if you're flexible! And trust me you can take someone's arm home with you for the trophy wall ;)
Give it a try and see how far your shoulder will rotate without tearing....:)
I don't feel like you need to be flexible to hit it. You just need good timing and a solid clamp on the opponent's elbow.Quote:
