Half guard top position to the truck?

I have used this in training to take the back but not to the truck. The back take is obviously legit with these names drilling it...right?

I actually do this one, the hard part (for me) is coming up high enough to properly take the back. I usually come out of it low, with one leg hook, and double unders. Then I feel like I'm climbing a land mine field as I try to secure the over under before they can spin into me.

Also, I once didn't dig my leg hook in deep enough on the setup and when I rolled I popped my knee. No injury, but I definitely felt weird knee pressure during the move. It's a great transition though. I chain it off of a failed marcelo pass when my ankle gets stuck in quarter guard and I abandon the knee cut pass and kick my leg back with a capoeira pass. Rather than fighting to get my ankle free I just grab their foot, shove my leg in deeper, and then roll across them for the transition. It's way easier than it looks.
