Hi! Has anybody any thoughts on if or how to work the inverted lockdown from halfguard.
With inverted I mean feeding your inner leg over the opponents leg and placing the foot under your outer calf.
Are there sweeps or submissions there?
We use the Inverted lockdown in the twister-roll, from twister side control to get to the
Truck.....Why not also use it in the halfguard?

Ya we just had a huge discussion about this like for the last 3 days, go find the thread i created with the videos of me asking about it, theres low precentage stuff you can hit if the opponent isnt wise to it but its low precentage. John botello posted a technique that might help you inside the same thread
Michael, these moves of your do look really cool. I don't understand why they´re supposed to be low precentage...

Sometime a move requires space or a set of circumstances that just won't be present against a more skilled opponent. The Indian Death Lock counter to the whip up is a good example. A savvy Lockdown player won't let you free to posture up to hit it.

and as multiple people pointed out all your opponent has to do is seat belt you and roll forward and your stuck, simple as that.
