Whats up Mike, Im Daniel been in the Marine Corps for almost 10 years stationed in Quantico Va your lucky to be out there not many people get to be stationed in a country considered to be a vacation spot take advantage not sure about jiujitsu out there tho.
yeah it is impossible to find anyone, it is irritating lol, but yeah i do get to travellol
Probably the best thing you can do is find a few partners interested in jiujitsu out there use the books dvds and the site to get all the reps you need to get proficient at the system then once you get back to the states you can see about getting into a 10thplanet school and go from there
I am currently a flight medic in the Army and have been in Honduras for almost 2 years. Myself and a couple of friends asked MWR to provide a training area for us and they bought a HUGE wrestling mat and pretty much let us have free reign. We invite people to come train with us 3 times a week and have an average class size of 10 people. I say post a flier up on the peg board at the base gym saying you want some training partners and I bet someone will respond.
yeah we atcully hold a battlion and brigade tourments, have to be combatives level 2 to compete, i am training this year but i am like the only one that knows that eddie exist, so i have been teaching it to my soldiers.
That is what I do. I do "combatives" for PT two times a week. Keep doing what you do. It's hard being in the military and keeping our skills up. Spread the word of 10th Planet to all you know.
