Another First Post!
Hello everyone, it seems like now is as good a time as any to introduce myself to the forum. My name is Dylan Fitzpatrick i live in Ontario, Canada and have been training Jiu Jitsu for a little bit over a year now. I came across this forum not long after i started Jiu Jitsu (under another account name which i didnt post with). This forum along with Eddie's book have been an invaluable resource to me as a grappler and I would just like to thank you all for doing what you do.
Can anyone offer me any tips on stretching? Moving out to peterborough this year for University and will more then likely get the opportunity to train at the 10th planet there. I would like to get a head start on stretching so i dont look like a goof XD

Thats pretty helpful thanks, but im was thinking something more along the lines of a magic flexibility pill or some kind of radioactive / cosmic incident that will bless me with flexible super powers XD. On a more serious note any other hip stretches besides the butterfly stretch that i should work?

The triangle stretch (in mastering the rubber guard) is a great compliment to the butterfly stretch and is the stretch I credit my flexibility to. Warm up before you stretch. When stretching to increase flexibility, hold each stretch for at least 30 seconds. Good luck.
