He's made a lot of humble opinions about himself lately. Especially during the seminar that Ari filmed for Submission 101. He talked about working on his wrestling, and how Brock beat him with superior skill. A lot of people characterize Mir as arrogant but his critical objective view of himself after every loss really demonstrates quite the opposite.
Consider me a fan.
I was wondering if someone would catch that and make a thread on here. I don't get all the Mir hate, he's critical of himself and humble in defeat. He's one of my favorite fighters.
Bader vs Lil Nog is starting now, can't wait :)
Yeah I have always liked Mir, everyone says he's cocky..... How could you be a fighter and not be absolutely confident, and what fighter dosent talk crap and say that they are gonna win?...... No one.... ;)
Im a huge Mir fan. Hes a big guy who fights with technique and style, not size and I like his philosophy on fighting.
I fell in love with Mir after the win over Big Nog. It was like watching Jimmy Chitwood in Hoosiers. Probably my favorite moment in MMA history. His wife screaming cageside. Mir's speech after the win was awesome. Gives me goosebumps just thinking about it.
Any links to his interview with joe rogan
Yeah, I couldn't find the interview. Links if you got them.
always been a big Mir Fan, However I can see why people think he is a lil cocky.....he tends to come off arrogant most of the time!
