Help for bellator
Whats up everybody!?
Bellator is coming to my home state of Indiana in March. With the help of my manager I'm some what campaigning to get on the card. lol I'm not on a hot streak to say the least, but have moved down to flyweight after my "lack of" performance on TUF 14.
My first fight at Flyweight was ruled a NC due to an illegal headbutt. 12/9/11
I'm hoping to make waves in the new division in 2012!
You can help by finding me on twitter @CaseyDyerMMA and RT a recent tweet for me. It has the hashtag #DyerINBellator .
Thanks for the support! "Train by day, 10th Planet Forum by night...all day!" lol

Keep you foot on their hip so you can angle out and squeeze your knees together TIGHT if you end up using any rubber-guard; those 2 little things will help maintain your guard while your opponent is looking for punching posture or an escape. And coming from a guy who loves the guard, if it's MMA, stay on top, save the Rubberguard for your worst case scenario. Too many times people will give up good positions cause they're too comfortable going to their backs, at least something I've seen in alot of JJ guys doing MMA, myself included. Have fun! Hope this was helpful ;)

Yea I never wrestled so I use the 3rd option when a guy gets pretty deep for a takedown. lol But my coaches have really been forcing me to work on takedown defense along with a ton of sweeps and top control. In MMA, a lot of times I will use twister side just to mount. No better spot to be in. :)
Thanks for the insight! :)
