Like Abu Dhabi style you say Rick? Coolness!
I have been to several of Gokor's grappling tournaments. They are run
very well. The last one I went to one of my Super Heavy weigh students
won his weight division. Not against Gokor students though. I have it on
DVD if you want to see it Rick. Have many other matches on there. People
from all over go to Gokor's tournaments. There were people from Santa
Barbara the last one I went to. I had told them about it and they showed
up with a whole team. Gene LeBell goes to all of Gokor's tournaments. You
get a chance to meet this grappling legend that was doing leglocks and
neck cranks 60+ years ago.
DAMN IT... I need to move to CA
If you win the first and the second round then you win the match.... If its a draw after the first two rounds it goes to the sudden death round! Am i getting that right???
I think (I might just be talking out of my ass here), but I would assume that if you submit the other guy in the first round... YOU WIN, but if there isn't a submission in the first round... you goto round 2 for points if you win that round you win... but if it goes to the third, its due to no clear winner in the first 2.
