First Match as a blue belt
Hey Everyone, here is my first match competing at blue. I competed recently at a Nova Uniao tournament as a white belt in the blue belt division. Gi Only...wasn't thrilled about that. Was a great opportunity to roll with other Nova Uniao team members from other schools....and of course rep my 10th planet love. I felt like I had better control than I apparently did when transitioning into chill dog, etc. Unfortunately cant embed video, but if you would like, please take a look and critique this match. I realize that I was extremely hesitant during my takedowns, and this is only because my head coach (who was also reffing as this was an invitational Nova Uniao Tourney) told me I'll be fine as long as I dont let him on top....we saw that that wasn't true.
