Since December 21st 2012 is just a couple weeks away I have decided to make a discussion about it, everything and anything relating december 21st. What will happen? End of the world? Alien invasion? Zombies? Nibiru crashing into earth?

nothing.
Party pooper, i know :)
Im more of a fan of age of enlightenment.
But I don't think it's a date you can mark on the calendar I think it's already started.
Things like people connecting over facebook and organizing protest that topple governments things like NASA announcing that faster then the speed of light warp drive.
Even this website is a crazy example of how times have changed. If the internet didn't exist most of us would still be under that old style don't question the teachers bullshit. I wouldn't know d'arce chokes or leg locks or twister if it hadn't been for the internet.
I have access to all information ever created in my fucking pocket, that is crazy.
Giant guinea pigs, from Peru. I saw a show about it on TV so it must be true.
I'll see you all in 2013 :)
It would be cool for something major (not catastrophic) event to happen.
Aliens coming back to earth to check on their experiment would be sick. And I think Ive watched enough Zombie shows to pretty much be able to run shit if that scenario goes down.
I'm not the first to say this I'm sure but if they Mayans whee so good at predicting shit, why didn't they see the Spanish coming?

I believe they had legends of white men coming within their folklore, as did the hawaiians.
Robot fuck dolls
I herd it was some sort of solar flair's that were meant to happen and really fuck the Earth up knocking out communications and shit for months. And humans would get desperate for food and start killing each other
whats that? did someone say pandemic of guinea pig flu!!! we are doomed!!
The Mayan did predict the Spanish coming and knew it would wipe out their civilization. They also said that the end of 2012 would be the end of time. Not the end of the world, so maybe we will experience time differently than we do now. Also i think they say it will be the 22 or 23 of December not the 21st. I am all for enlightenment and a higher dimension but I am preparing for turkey zombies just in case. I have seen it in my dreams... Haha. What is the 10th plan if it all goes to shit? Denver? I remember Eddie said something on a post.
It seems like Russians are panicking the most about it the most http://www.nytimes.com/2012/12/02/wo...elsewhere.html . I think the craziest thing about the date is that there are so many theories from completley different sources. I personally think there is a good chance something might happen, something of great significance. The end of the world? I doubt it. One thing I am sure of though is that I can not wait until December 21st.
One of my friends who studied the mayan and hopi indians at Harvard told me about it. She has a website at yourcosmiccafe.com she has done a lot of research into the matter of the Mayans, Hopi Indians, and 2012. She had a show on NPR for awhile. Then another guy who has some interesting information george kavassilas in Australia was saying the same thing that it was on the 22nd or 23rd. He has some videos on YouTube. I don't know much about George but carol is a good friend of mine and very well educated so when she talks about something I take her word for it.
There is nothing gonna happen , it's already happening. You can't see it , you can't touch it only your inner soul knows it !
According to Neil Degrasse Tyson, turns out the galactic alignment of 2012 happens every Dec 21, so it looks like nothing might happen afterall, YAY! thank god, life is beautiful! :)
Unless he's like that mainstream Egyptologist that tries to debunk all of John Anthony West's theories. NDT does seem like he's full of himself, so you never know but I hope he's right, I wanna keep rockin plus I wanna see The Red Destroyer in ADCC :)

I'm pretty sure many native people, including white people or europeans ,have stories about white or pale people because people get pale when they die.
It could be they had some kind of stories about pale people or something but the arrival of a group of people that will in fairly short order wipe your civilization of the face of the earth via plague and massacre? That would seem pretty important.
I have an inner soul? like a soul for my soul? Just kidding. Hope your doing well.
I don't feel shit soul wise, as far as I can tell. I'm happy or satisfied in general so maybe this mayan thing is ok.
If anyone id in the market for a soul, Mines for sell. $116 for the soul and depending on the ritual you want me to do, That might be extra. I'm not drinking blood or something for free, in fact that would cost more than the soul. I'd also be willing to trade my soul for a signed copy of mastering the twister.
Ive done dmt and a synthetic copy called amt and LSD dozens of times, mushroom over a hundred times probably and mixes of these and MDMA. Great experiences for sure. Still pretty sure I don't have a soul though.
I wasn't suggesting you, specifically, buy my soul but sorry your not interested, I don't think you'll find a soul for this cheap anywhere else, but if you do buy it!
were you saying I'll need my soul for the thing in December or just in general?
2013 = Repin 10PJJ India :cool:
found this on wiki
"the manuscripts are attributed to a legendary author called Chilam Balam, a chilam being a priest who gives prophecies and balam a common surname meaning 'jaguar'. Some of the texts actually contain prophecies about the coming of the Spaniards to Yucatán while mentioning a chilam Balam as their first author.[1]"

I'm not sure this will suffice, but this was what I was casually referencing
I'm expecting that some time around that date the 10th Planet will be seen in Winnipeg...

It's interesting and kinda of fun to read. I see they also mentioned that there would be an earthquake, wonder if there was one. It seems that this is from the time of the Spanish arrival so if it was of things to come but after the initial arrival. This reads like a christian prophecy not Mayan.
Predicting shooting stars and solar eclipses through astronomical observations is impressive but its not really prognostication or prophecy. Just like Roma fortune tellers or Nostradomus or Ms. Cleo, it all seems fake.
No one has special mind powers that I don't have.
Wikipedia page rips the Mayan Prophecy craze a new asshole.
Skeptic.com had a NASA scientist answer 20 question about the Mayan prophecy.

I'm not trying to take anything away from, the Mayans past or present. They had a hell of civilization going on and an interesting culture but I feel it insults all their great achievements as a civilization when people spread this kind of bullshit.

Kinda funny and kinda creepy.
Tiny French Village Braces for 'End of the World' Visitors. They want to stop a flood of weird people from hanging out in their village and traveling to some magic mountain. Maybe they just want the mountain all for themselves :)

I had a feeling that would be your response. There wasn't enough detail to establish what parts were pre contact and what might have been added afterwards. It kinda reminded me of the bible in that sense. I know wiki isn't the end all be all, but as much as people will say that it's unreliable, there's just a ton of people who still will use it casually.
Yeah, Wikipedia is great because we all have access to it FREE. SO MANY times I wanted to post links to articles on the lancet or another journal of peer reviewed articles but oh well. I feel Wikipedia is unreliable if your writing a paper and trying to use it as a original source but in general I think its a fantastic resource and 99% of whats on there for most topics seems legit.
15 days away! Im ready to see what the fuck will happen!!!
example - Recently its been accepted in the scientific community that people can feel when other people are looking at them. I guess they finally figured out a way to test it. People in the military have known this for a good while. Ive been catching people starring at me for years now. At first I used to snap my head and look in the direction I felt like I should be looking which would cause funny responses from surprised people. Its like if your head is clouded with crap then its too busy to notice tiny feeling changes or other stuff. Might not necessarily be things you can control at will. You just pick stuff up sometimes. There was a time when this would've been seen as witch magic or superstition. Maybe now with the internet people that have weird things happen to them can actually relate to each others experiences instead of telling everyone you know and most of them not believing you or knowing what to think about the things your telling them.
Hard to explain how to want your body to do something without seeking or thinking about what you want it to do. So sometimes telling people about stuff might cause them to try to will it to happen which can make it harder to do what they are wanting to do. Like I said very hard to explain.
Since we dont really know the full potential of our brains, its hard to say what we really are capable of.
