Nice
I could only watch 15 minutes of this. I'll attempt to go vegan now and if I can't do it, I'll watch 15 minutes more of this.
i'm pretty much done with red meat, & need to find a good substitute for chicken & turkey
what the fuck is wrong with people ? karma will cash a big check for this shit. we must remember that the same could happen to us via the universe
Thanks for posting
dam we are killing the world...... but most already know it !!
HOLY SNAPPING DUCK SHIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks jason
watched this the other day... Very powerful
That guy's voice has exactly the right tone to make you feel ashamed.
somebodys gotta show this to brock lesnar
this is what aliens would do to us if they landed
Jason man, i have to say that i had tears during this. This is the saddest godamn shit i have ever seen. Please give me a vegetable diet. I ain't gonna lie i love meat especially chicken and pork. but the way we slaughter shit brings me to tears. help me brother. help me :(
Hey man. Thanks for watching. Most people won't because it's too difficult, but I think people need to see this.
There is hope for vegan athletes. Jake Shields and John Fitch are vegan and seriously bad ass too.
Here is another very important video. This guy brings up awesome points and even offers some advice on the subject. Some parts of this video are also hard to watch, so maybe save it for another day, but you should watch the whole thing.

The after Q & A is on Youtube.
Someone just shared this with me on Facebook, but I haven't had a chance to watch more than a few minutes, and I'm not sure I need to watch more than a few. I already eat a vegetarian heavy diet, and I've been strongly considering going full vegan but it's really tough with a busy schedule and training. I think this documentary might inspire me to go for it although I'm still not sure I'll be able to watch the whole thing.
But havent humans always killed meats and ate them? Sending men out to spear large prey and bring it back to feed the villiage? What about other animals though? They have no problem murdering lesser defenseless prey to feed themselves.......questions questions
Humans are animals but the only reason we don't eat each other is because it is seen as inhumane. While in fact that human flesh is the most healthiest food for others because the body already contains all the nutrients needed. While other Animals eat each other no problem.
Walks like a duck talks like a duck must be a faggit!!!
Kill the Reptilians!!!!
Most predators don't eat their own species.
Hey Don...did you get a chance to watch the second video posted? It is an amazing video and the guy speaking uses pure logic to answer many of your questions.
A quick answer, although you should definitely watch the whole second video, is that humans have not always eaten animals. In fact we are not considered carnivores. True carnivores have a different set of teeth and a completely different jaw structure. They do not get food delivered pretty to them on a plate either. They kill their food with their mouths, not with technology, and they eat that shit raw and whole i.e. organs, muscle, fat, and all the meat all the way down to the bone. It is not pretty and looks nothing like Outback Steakhouse.
Not only that, but a large part of the argument made in the second video is that even if we did always eat animals (which we haven't) we no longer need to. We are lucky today to have lifestyle/diet science and an evolution in our food products.
If you take workout/protein supplements, eat iced cream, or use a computer, the argument that "didn't we always do blank" clearly doesn't apply. We do many things now that we didn't used to do, like drive cars, fly in planes, use contraception, and chat on forums, so why not apply this logic to the way we treat animals, eat food, and how we treat our bodies?
We eat meat because we have been taught to do so. Its antiquated like much of our culture.
I'll will give you this. Honestly...it tastes good. And it tastes good for the same reason Doritos taste good. Its filled with fat. Its also filled with things like hormones that will give you cancer.
Watch the video. Seriously. You're a smart guy and you'll get a lot out of it. He kills all of the common bullshit anecdotes that stop most people from becoming vegetarian.
The post Q & A is awesome too.
Here is the second video in case you missed it.

Jason... this video bothered me. I'm going to stop eating meat, and give my girlfriend the business when she buys anything leather.
I'm trying to watch it. I'm sitting in a guilt-coma for twenty minutes at a time and then put my laptop on standby.
thanks jason i will watch these next two videos sunday morning tommorrow. And dennis yea that website is good. gonna have to shop for some stuff. i love vegetables and fruit but it is gonna be super challenging to give up meat just cuz like jason said it taste good. i am excited about feeling cleanier and having more energy and cardio.
Nice guys! Thanks for the replies!
Don...sure meat tastes good, but vegan stuff has come a really long way. It used to be that stores just carried just veggie burgers and most of those tasted like cardboard. Now they have literally a meat substitute for everything and honestly you won't miss anything. Some of it is so good that my meat eating friends buy it just because they like it.
I used to eat meat. Lots and lots of meat. I have been vegetarian for over a year now and I'm never looking back. My strength and weight are exactly the same, but I have even less body fat and way beter cardio than I did when I was a carnivore.
Best,
Jason
The only thing I don't like about becoming vegetarian is how much time you have to put into managing your diet. I like being able to go somewhere and know I'm not restricted in any way.
i keep coming back to this thread im having trouble eatting meat!
and the cow beatings in the last video!
goddamn
Jason you should post the fur skinned video
aside from the humane side, animal protein is absolutely linked to heart disease, auto immune diseases, cancer, eczema, psoriasis etc....
Vegetarian diet is not hard, it's just different. It becomes easy with time.
i have avoided "fake" meat products for a long time until like the last year they have gotten much better making them, the meatless products out now are amazing and taste the same as the real thing. Also if you are into shakes and meal replacements things like that for post and pre workout try VEGA its a Vegan supplement line created by Triathlete Brendon Brazier that ive recently got the chance to try during this last month and it is great and helps with recovery after some of my 3aday workout days
This is of course assuming that you MUST eat meat at every meal...which is a really good way to get sick.
Nuts, grains, beans, lentils, fruits and vegetables are enough quick fix easy to prepare foods to not be restricted. It is a big misconception that being vegetarian takes more time than not being one. In 2011, there are many many options that vegetarians didn't use to have.
I have no regrets and I have never felt better.
A vegan smoothie I make..I use a bit of the Vega smoothie mix and some pea protein.
