My thoughts exactly mate.......just a bit more in depth lol

Hi, sorry I should have been clearer. I was kinda talking about damage received and the long term affects when talking about the ko and tko stats. Ludwig has been finished with strikes 5 or 6 times I think, whereas Hardy just once I believe. Catches up with you eventually. I think Hardy will be in slightly better shape too.
Definitely agree though, Hardy should just shoot on him ASAP, it is his best chance. :-)
Bang will break Hardy I am sorry.
Close fight could go either way but Dan Hardy takes this I think.
Dan Hardy's days as a UFC fighter end tomorrow night, sorry to Say. BANG has excellent striking, improved takedown defense and has been "working on my jiu-jitsu on a daily basis". His camp also appears to be confident in his improvement on the ground. Dan Hardy hasn't shown anything impressive to me since his loss to GSP. Your only as good as your last few fights. And Dan has gone 0-4 now.. whereas Bang is 2-2 and looked impressive against Neer even in that loss. Hardy will be overwhelmed by Bang's more diverse and crisper striking and will take home a black eye and a pink slip.
I got Hardy by decision
No TKOs aren't a flawed stat. The fighter gets dazed from a strike and then goes down. If the ref wasn't in the cage then the other guy would just get pounded unconscious so it's basically the same as a KO it just spares the other fighter the punishment. Dan has got KO power. Remember Rory Markham? He had Lytle who has never been finished on wobbly legs. He had Swick and Davis dazed really bad too.
I've got Bang by dec.
I wouldnt be disappointed if that happened instead. Bang seems to be the more technical striker so as long as he dictates the pace he could take this one very easily. Just for some reason I picture Hardy moving forward more therefore looking more active and how ignorant most judges are, taking the decision
I thought KO power, is actually KO a person out, not dazing people. I think we a difference of opinion. Hitting someone, and the lights go out is knock out power. Never heard a fighter say they daze a lot of fighters when they fight.
Yes, TKO's are a flawed stat in mma. When people talk about power striking. Here's why I think your wrong Andrew. You use the example of (The fighter gets dazed from a strike and then goes down.) Many tko's don't happen that way. So your example has them standing and banging and one guy gets caught, goes down, and the other guy gnp him into a tko. OK... how about all the times when both fighter are already on the ground. One guy transitions into a dominant position on the ground ( crucifix, mount, trapped against the cage, etc.) then the dominant fighter starts striking his opponent (doesn't even have to be hard) and the guy on the bottom can't defend. So the referee stops the fight by tko... The flawed part of tko's that I was talking about earlier. When looking at peoples record and you see tko you have watch the fights again to see how it really ended because as I stated before Hardy doesn't have many ko's against near top level guys. You mention Markham; ok give some more of his premium ko's against somebody decent. I only see 1 maybe 2 more.
I do believe Hardy has KO power. I was just comparing Hardy & Bang. I don't know if this made any sense and I'm to tired to reread it. So I will leave with a little Nick Diaz, A, whatever....Cesar Gracie Jiu Jitsu!
