I'd say have Scott meet ur Mom too, and then allow them to talk in private, then wait a week and see how she reacts. If that doesn't work I think it might be a situation where u need to wait it out on her for a bit and then later on she may have second thoughts and allow u to stay later then. Does she drop u off there to begin with (like she comes home from work, drives u over, then waits/shops for an hr and then wants to go home right at end of class)?

No if my mom drops me off and goes back home then comes back again to pick me up, that's already like 12 miles. I also have curfew cause I'm a minor.

I have a student that rides his bike to the gym everyday. Maybe that is an option. Or explain to the P's that this is really important to you and hopefully they will support you on it. Good luck
