I'm no expert, but I am making lean muscle gains.
He eats pasta, and I don't so I use quinoa instead, or sweet potatoes, or organic black rice (Expensive!). Also note that this week I am eating chicken becuase that is what I cooked up in advance, but some weeks I will have Venison or Moose or Bear or Beef or another lean meat as a protein, or salmon steaks. Depends what I get around to prepping ahead of time because right now I am working 12 hour shifts and I have to have everything ready in advance other than the Quinoa.
