Padding. Lots of padding. And tape. Tape up your toes. I broke my toes when I was trying to avoid my dog and I hit the corner of the bed frame. Since then I've broken my toes twice in Aikido. Keep it up though.

I kicked a bar stool yesterday. Fuck, it hurt.
