I hope someone actually gets to the bottom of what happened. So hard to trust what you hear on the news.
I'm watching the news live right now. Apparently, there is something going on at Tufts Medical Center, one of the hospitals where victims are currently being treated. The emergency room has supposedly been locked down, and there are reports/rumors that something may be happening at Mass General Hospital, as well.
Multiple people are in critical condition and entering surgery. It's been said that the scene is reminiscent of what a "military battlefield" may look like. Absolutely awful, I can't believe it.
The initial reports are almost always incorrect, I will wait for the second days coverage for details. (think Newton, 1 or 2 shooters, guns in school/in car, second site, etc). This is a tragedy and my thoughts and prayers are with the people directly and indirectly affected by this. Looks like they were targeting first responders with he secondary blast, smells like terrorist planning to me, but I will wait and see.
They should pass a law making bombs illegal, that would stop these people from doing this. Oh, wait, it is illegal.
It's amazing. In the wake of this tragedy, people are putting out the call to kill muslims. No proof. No conjecture. Just straight to kill muslims. My money is on home grown extreme right wing american "patriots".
Supposedly they have a Saudi in custody for all this but like what ern said, Im not trusting anything till at least tomorrow but probably not for a couple days.
Thoughts are with everyone. So sad. :(
