And here is how to do the sweep from half guard.
The entire lesson is now uploaded but I can only include one video per post so.....:
100% from Half Guard: http://youtu.be/-jQ4Erd613k
100% to the Back:http://youtu.be/4VuRa_RLAnY
100% to the Back - Footwork Details : http://youtu.be/HqND_L3swms
100% Neck Crank: http://youtu.be/WFNE7_6LAAM
So that's everything from last week. We'll be having Erwann back again to show how to transition to inverted armlocks, kimuras, and other such stuff from the 100%. If you have any questions on the move, please feel free to post and I will have Erwann address your questions next time he's down.
Erwann is teaching mostly white belts, for whom it is illegal to neck crank. So he's showing them how to use the move legally during competitions. In practice, Erwann never lets go of the neck either - much to my chagrin. The latest videos I've uploaded include tips on finishing the crank.
Yo! I'm rarely on the forum, but I'm happy to answer questions about the series from time to time.
The 100% series is almost as cool as Erwann! Gonna share this with Portland tonight.
hey guys thanks for dropping the knowledge with us. when i was over in germany. toby and i worked on a ninja choke from 100% grip. i was just wondering if you guys play with using the 100% grips to reset a choke? we would go from a failed guillotine to 100% but instead of sweeping we would push our hips out the other way to make room toslide our left arm (the arm which isnt under the armpit) and bring it under the neck. then jsut grab the bicep and from there you can finish it, or to make it tighter you can let go of the 100% control and control the back of his head, and to make it even tighter you move your right elbow in and then imagine your doing a 6 to 12 elbow and throw it up towards to roof.
i spose the question ive got is how important is it to get the gable grip on the 100%?
its been a pretty high % move for me so far, but id love to get more info about control and see if anyoen is doing something similar.
