That's exactly how the match went down, time ran out with denny on a straight ankle lock ala the hail mary warm ups. His opponent had 2 legit sweeps but clearly wasn't looking to go after any subs. He swept Denny, stood up and then pulled guard. VERY smart strategy considering it's a point tournament and he had Samir and Rader coming up.
