I liked this idea so I made a working model. The only problem is even at very low resolution the .gif files make the app pretty big.
I'm working on a way to download the images post install so that the initial size of the app is small. I'll update you when I have something you can dl and look at.

I wish the normal app for the iphone was avaible to us android users deff gonna download this :)
