They just released part 2

Sweetch, beat me to posting it. So crazy seeing the detailed differences between a guy that was trained for wrestling basically since birth by his dad like a Spartan (no homo :) EBR), and a guy that wrestled a lot with Olympic wrestlers at a much later age
Nice part 2 details. I watched the whole fight and part 1 with someone who was a wrestler. His opinion is that Hendricks won the fight easily and is by far a better wrestler. In fact, he heard a statement that GSP was supposed to be the best wrestler in Canada and he said after this fight that is clearly NOT true. The best wrestlers in Canada are at the Burnaby Mountain Wrestling Club according to him. Other details he gave from his perspective from part 1 single leg defense is: Hendricks would put a strong overarm whizzar and shoulder drive when GSP grabbed leg. Hendricks also applied his weight forward and downward on GSP while in this position allowing his back foot to be light enough to make little micro steps and save energy. Also when GSP would try to control the leg with both hands Hendricks would smash his face with his powerful left hand making GSP defend the strikes and give up control of the leg a bit. Hendricks would also be able to use his hand from the whizzar arm to fuck with GSPs hands and open up more strikes. My friend was surprised that GSP did not alter his takedown strategy and kept going back to something that Hendricks clearly had the answer for or had spent a lot of time in practice dealing with. He said BJJ scout does an awesome job describing what was going on and should be doing this for UFC shows like they do for NFL stuff. Apparent Hendricks was just using basic wrestling single leg defense which was made easier because of strikes.
Can't wait to hit the nail and watch part 2.
