Lol new baby in a month, twice is looking realistic. Theres a lot of stuff in the works concerning jiu jitsu.

Switch from MMA to pure jiu jitsu for awhile.
Learn more Japanese. Visit Jeremy Deschner in Japan with a friend of mine in Juli/august. Visit Paraestra. Hold hands with tame otters. Feed cheeseburger bread to tame deer. Give a monkey a cigarette in an Onzen. Eat some fugu fish. Finish my art project.
Apply for a job as a hotel clerk, nightshift.
Short term; Fire up the cano and finish my school application form. :)
Short Term -
Improve my flexibility
Work less at my job and spend more time on jiu jitsu
Long Term -
Grow a beard
visit 10th planet HQ
Short Term-
Go to HQ for a month to train (current issues unfortunately)
Continue to get better every week
Enter as many competitions as possible
Long Term-
Get my black belt (Gi and No-Gi)
Open up a BJJ School
Short Term-
Compete as much as possible and learn as much as possible in all facets of MMA
Complete my university degree
Purple belt in BJJ
Mid Term -
Continue to compete in MMA and sign with a major organisation
Brown belt in BJJ
Win the British Championships in freestyle wrestling
Win a kick boxing, boxing or Thai boxing national level title
Long Term-
Get my black belt in BJJ
Become world champion in MMA on a major promotion
Retire at 35 and open my own academy
Look after my body and brain
Thanks for reviving this Rick. It helps keep yourself accountable when you make your goals known to a group. Mine for 2014 are:
Compete more than I did in 2013 (more than 8 times)
Medal more than I did in 2013 (15)
Compete in either No gi Pans or Worlds
Get hired by a police department- I'm on the hire list for two and will be taking the LAPD test in April
Travel to Los Angeles three times (One complete and the second is already booked)
Work on takedowns and being more aggressive
Continue working to bring the women grapplers in Chicago together through free open mats and promoting cross training
Yeah this year I would love my blue belt ( if my instructor thinks I'm ready )
And I wanna compete as much as possible and win at least 1 match
