Just limp leg one side out and upa to the side where the legs are still tied up not garanteed a sweep but it moves his bas around enough for you to get your shit back together.

If you start from a grapevine for all of your mount defense drills, you'll develop a feel for it pretty fast and will be more able to limp leg out faster. Once you limp leg, there is a moment where all of their weight is on your hip, I usually try to hip bump my legs out to butterfly but then I spazz and throw the leg knot up for a high outside ankle lock.

the only way you can transition into anything dangerous from any sort of full mount is by going to half guard butterfly guard first. or you can try to shoot your legs in front of their body.. but that wouldnt work in this situation

My teacher always told me when someone mounts you keep your legs flat so they can't grapevine them until you are ready to escape.
Good tip.. I guess i have the bad habit putting both of my knees up when I get mounted.
