that looked pretty big to be a armature rocket, you think the coast guard would scramble a team to investigate where it came from.

Ari's right. If it's something they didn't know about, they wouldn't be so non-chalant. No way in this post 911 world. Also, 35 miles off the coast? Can't be civilian and un-noticed. Things super high in the sky. But it's in international waters, I think. Military is lying, but why? Launched at a time anyone would see it...
The Department of Defense admits they don't know what it was. Yet, they don't consider it a threat. It's not like the military to quickly dismiss unknown threats to national security, especially nowadays. I got to agree, something's really fishy here.
So you're saying they're dismissing it as no threat to not cause a panic, whereas it actually IS a threat, and we're all fucked?
It's a fucking Mayan rocket, the time has come!
I just saw on the msn, the dept of defense is saying it wasn't a rocket but wont say what it is.
yeah, if the government didn't have anything to do with this, they would be freaking out and terrorism will be all over the headlines.
Heard about this on the radio, they said that the pentagon knew nothing about it or any test fires and the U.S. navy and Air force didnt make the command either.
there was talk that it was suspected to be an amature rocket or possible ICBM test.
if it were me though i'd be knockin on every door to figure out what it was.
could be something harmless, but IMO if the pentagon didnt order it let alone not know about it and our own military didnt do it, i'd want to find out what it was right away.
