I went to his class. It was good, it's more japanese jiu-jitsu mixed with muay thai and 10th planet bjj.
There was a nice conditioning part.
He is a 2nd degree blackbelt and seemed very knowledgeable.
The gym had a nice clean atmosphere everyone was friendly.
I would recommend it to anyone in the area wanting to learn japanese jiu jitsu mixed with 10th planet. :)
I'll probably go back and train with him occasionally.
2nd d in what? Name is familiar. Was he one of Arthurs guys from the the old sik Tae days? If so there were a lot of lies and bullshit that came out of that club and I wouldn't believe any of it.
2nd degree in japanese jiu jitsu he trained at some goshin ryu place and then at bissett.
he dodged the question about his belt in bjj when he found out I was purple under sylvio behring.
creds or not he was progressive with his learning style always willing to try new things.
kind of get used to it in Winnipeg... I know of 2 other people who claim blackbelts who train and run gyms but they loose to bluebelts in mma fights.
this guy seemed nice and willing to always learn and progress.
Rodrigo Mundaruca is a legit BB in Winterpeg. Just saying. He will not be loosing to any blue belts any time soon.
Ya Rod is a beast, but because Im trying to affiliate with 10th planet I don't think he would want me to go there... he always seems nice when I see him at tournaments.
Same with Curtis at Wamma he is a legit blackbelt and a super nice guy, I have a couple of his guys who occasionally come train with me.
