The first time you made someone tap in competition Thread

My first competition I was so unprepared. I knew no sweeps, stayed up half the night smoking and was in awful shape. It was NAGA 2008 novice division, under 150. My first match was likely one of the least technical of all time, we swept each other at least 5 times, I finally locked up an americana. I was too tired to be excited. I won my next match 0-0 but had an advantage for catching him in triangle. I lost my next match by rnc, I was exhausted and then had to another for 3rd place, lost the same way.

I won via flying armbar. I had a lot of training and unofficial smoker matches. Poor bastard just reached for a lazy collar tie.

Grapplers Quest vegas advanced against one of Carlson Gracies Students. Road the lightning into an electric chair then held my breath. Before the match could tell me if the chair was legal so I didn't Know if my hand would be raised or if I would be disqualified. It was raised. It was very cool because it was the first time competeing as 10th Planet. Plus Eddie's big dogs were there most of whom I'd only seen on youtube before that.

I remember just starting to train RG after going to watch a Grapplers Quest in NJ. I came back with a vengeance at the 09' GQ in Pennsylvania and got my first competition tap after making it to Jiu Claw. Ice Picked that sucker then got my over/under and finished the Omoplata like a champ. Never in my life did I think I would take a win by the Omo

My first sub was an invisible collar i just crushed the dude and he tapped, i couldn't believe how easy it was. Wait i lied, my FIRST sub ever was a sharpshooter on my cousin after seeing Brett "The Hitman" Heart do it. Pretty sure i was like 8.

I was a muay thai striker for several years . I was informed that my opponet had no ground game to speak of and that i better learn a feww techniques . i went to mfs and learned a simple arm triangle (i know i was deprived in jj skills ) . anyways short version i ended up getting on the ground in the first round and slipped the choke on . guy passed out .. I got up and was like holy shit that crap actually works , been addicted to it ever since then
