Clamp down tight on your over hook ( whizz er) then push down on his head and make him kiss the mat. Don't let him get cross body on you and fight to get his back. Is my suggestion.

Listen to coach Herzog. He's a beast. I'm blessed to have been tied into a pretzel by him.
If the guy on top has the under hook you aren't getting his back unless he makes some serious mistakes. If you have really good hips you can use this to get to your knees or replace guard. Pushing on the head also assumes you are winning the pressure/posture battle and if he is able to control the posting arm, same as the pimp arm, you are back to square one.

Thanks Chris, I am not super good at explanations on this computer. Here is an example of what I try to do first whenever I get my guard passed and end up on the bottom. This is what I mean by not letting him get his head over the top of you body. The ghost transition is a spectacular move and a finish if you get the triangle or a headlock of some type. This more level one and a good starting point for guys like myself. :-)
