I'd say in the gym, this is true for me. In competition I rarely have anybody going 1/4 or half guard on me. I think I spend a lot of time in bottom half or on top in full guard.

Positions: If the opponent is better than me and light, knee on belly. If the opponent is better than me and heavy, a variation of side control. If I am in control, usually reverse kesa gatame or mount. If I am just a little bit better than than my opponent, I sweep from half and play around with leg entanglements.
Submissions: I get caught most with intricate collar and lapel choke setups in the gi and toe holds no gi.
I hit the armbar the most gi and nogi. No gi I also hit a lot of toe holds, Japanese
Neckties, calf slicers, and the The Double Wristlock Catch Wrestling Style.
Gi I also like to hit baseball bat chokes everywhere with the lapel or
Collar and I have been working on leveling up my arm triangle ezekiel choke.
For the last mounth I've only worked butterfly or getting back to butterfly when on bottom. On top I'm always in half or mount. I also find myself getting the truck and a position Sean Bollinger calls knee on bicep alot. Subs I'm hitting are alot of no gi modified Ezekiels, arm triangles, carnis, and straight ankle locks, Brandon's sock lock has been there for me a few times recently as well.Subs I've been getting caught with are darces and guillotines, mostly while working my butterfly.
Top and bottom half if say :)
I find myself in bottom half quite a lot and side control if they're better than me. Loving the turkey wrap at the moment, otherwise I've been hitting some straight ankle locks and guillotines
Open guard top and bottom. Lots of bolo positioning. Leg control positions, and, of course, the pistash
I've only been a blue belt for about 7 mths, so I'd say I find myself getting worked by upper belts mostly hahaha. But, I am developing deep half with underhook defense better. I always try to get on top and work half guard top or side control. Mostly in gi I get to baseball choke from knee on belly or triangles from bottom. No gi, arm triangles and americanas are what I will try for and triangles from bottom. I get caught in guillotines and my last tournament I got caught in a solid triangle and just got lazy on the two in two out rule and thought I could posture out and get my hand inside better, but I used to get caught in them a lot when I first tried to break and pass standing.
