I see, it's called the cop sweep. It's definitely a very high percentage sweep. It works even if you're flat on your back, assuming that the person isn't too big/strong for you to force your overhook

I prefer using the overhook to whizzer/pimp arm/stomp, getting to full guard

I sometime refer to the cop sweep as the sweep I use against people I can't sweep, it's crazy high percentage once the cop clinch is in right

ah ok, i just reviewed mts 29 for the COP sweep. i'm gonna try that tonight. my problem is when they have the underhook pretty deep already, their head pinned to the ground and i'm already flattened out.

eddie, in the mts episode, you're showing a version for when the top guy attempts to re-pummel for the underhook, THEN you do the COP sweep. but what if he's already established the underhook. any tips to getting to the COP clinch from there?

and brandon, have you figured out ways to counter the pass?
