Does Eddie teach class every Tuesday night?
A training partner and I plan to fly down to CaLI the week of EBI (or at least I will shoot to be there by Tues/Wed). But yeah, seems like the folks before me have already named some great options
Doubt you can go wrong with any of the schools in LA, personally i'd love to visit West LA and spend some time at Costa Mesa as well.
I just returned from a two week stay in SoCal. I was able to train at 10P Oceanside, San Diego, and HQ. All equally as great and learned a ton of new stuff. My personal favorite was Oceanside. I stayed at The Motel 6 in Carlsbad Village which was really reasonable and had very nice rooms.
If you had downtime from training LEGOLAND is in Carlsbad for the little man too
Thanks for the tips. Looked into scheduling a private with Geo for him on our trip.

This is the way our itinerary looks so far.
Get into Lax early Saturday morning.
-Try to make the kids class at noon at Burbank 10th planet
-EBI 4 that night
Sunday
-9am Kids class at Art of Jiu Jitsu
-Private with Renato Laranja (still need to finalize time)
-Check out the beaches rest of the day, maybe swing by the Gracie Academy
Monday
- Go to Victory MMA in San Diego 10am Jeff Glover class
Try to schedule a private with Jeff Glover while at gym
-4:30pm Kids Class at San Diego Combat Academy on Convoy Street
-6pm Kids Class at San Diego Combat Academy on Mission Gorge
-Schedule private with Geo Martinez?
Does anyone know the schedule for Oceanside?
Tuesday
- Riverside at 6am
- Orange at 10:30 am to noon
- Catch the class at HQ that night.
Does anyone know the schedule for HQ?
Fly out Tuesday night or Wednesday morning.
Is there anything I'm missing?
FYI - Marvin Castelle is the head kids instructor at HQ. If you can make it, try to bring your kid to the advanced kids class, its every Friday at 3:30pm. He's an amazing instructor and there are some beastly kids in his class.Quote:

Thanks for the schedule. I'll talk to my son about trading Tuesday for Friday so he could make that advanced class. But I know he's looking for to seeing Geo and Eddie train together Tuesday night.
