I just don't let people crank on my neck anymore. Anyone gets hold of mine rolling i just tap. I am not letting my wee neck get jacked!
How bout this, tell your partner to ease the fuck down lol, but seriously, leave your ego behind u and tap earlier than later, helps for me, "tap early, train tomorrow". sounds familiar? Can openers are illegal in all competitions where I'm from so why even do it, its a douchbag move anyways, its not technical at all. Its a recipe for a hernated disc, u dont want that shit..
For recovery, rest, isometric contractions after 3-4 days of your neck, then stretches eventually. Cold is a bit overrated but its good the first day or too, just dont use it too much, 20 mins max at a time, i'de suggest 10 mins. anti inflammitories im not a big fan of and anyways im not allowed recomend u take it but if i were u I'de only use if u feel u really have to. It's hard to say what u should do since Im not there beside u and i cant do any testing and ask all the appropriate questions, but I hope this helps a bit.
goodluck.
good advice, but decompression therapy is a bit overrated, some people in Quebec got in trouble for this because they made some claims that were not true. From what i remember, it mostly makes it feel better but does not actually treat it, its definately not bad for u but your vertebraes will come back closer together anyways, something like that.
I’d say read browse around once more and clear any misunderstandings.
I had chronic back pain from my roofing work for over 20 years. Tried acupuncture, massage therapy and even pranic healing before I got chiropractic manual adjustment at the Erin Mills Health facility here in Mississauga, where I live. Best money I ever spent. I agree that there are scammers around trying to drain money from you everywhere, but chiro is definitely legit.
