Jason is a brown belt in 10th planet, and very good. Submissions will be back when 10th planet takes over, right now there is a bit of a dry spell.
Watch out for Denny, Scott, Sean, and all the Ronin's on the rise.

If wrestlers could just learn to pass the guard the ground game wouldn't be considered boring.
^yea i agree with that statement. Wrestling is sort of ruining mma imo
the thing that gets me is that chambers was down with 10th planet and 10th planet juijitsu for mma as for wrestling ruining mma i thing no ones has really figured it out like like bjj has been hence why guys like soto's , and hardy are running a muck in the ufc because they are doing jujitsu for mma and look at soto's last couple of fights he fought some really good wrestlers and either subbed them out or won buy decison and for chambers to talk shit about bjj is a slap in the face to me
Dude don't let one persons opinion be a slap in the face to you who cares what this dude thinks
whos saying he still isnt down with jiu jitsu, hes just saying its least effective aspect of the sport which isnt a completely invalid opinion. Sure, I dont agree with him. But I do think there is a lack of honestly great bjj guys in mma at the moment. Notice that many of the top bjj grapplers in the world at the moment dont compete in mma they compete in bjj only, which is ok it just doesnt do much for the sport as far as mma goes. Honestly its a shame but I dont really blame them just watch marcelo garcias mma fight and then think about things...
everything everyone is saying is pretty much true....but i'll say as far as wrastlin and jj being boring, it is because of the defenses that cause people to stale. you don't see too many pharmaceutical grade superheroes coming out doing what coleman, kerr, or old tito used to do which is legitimately use wrastlin to ground and pound these days...pretty much sonnen does it in ufc....and ya not too much outstanding combinations of people doing jits without getting caught up with a KO or some other exposed hole....hazlett, maia, and some others with almost being considered having suspect chins (maia looked good in his last fight though). anyways, i think the same can be same about people who clinch when standing up and herb dean has to seperate them..or those who ineffectively don't land clean punches throughout a fight IMO...nothing wrong with bjj or any of it, it's all on the shoulders and evolution of the fighter ;/
All it will take is for a couple of guys to put Jiu jitsu back on the map. I think too many fighters are being sucked into highlight reel knockout finishes. Punching someone in the face is the quickest way to do damage, but I still think using Jiu jitsu is the most intelligent way to fight.
its called mixed martial arts for a reason.
