Who do think won? Edgar or Maynard? Did u like the draw dec?

I don't think the first round could really be argued as a 10-7. It looked like a typical dominant 10-8 round. Edgar was bouncing around and still engaging by the end of the 1st. 10-8 was fair as was the final 47-47. I don't care for a rematch. I'd rather see Maynard test himself against Henderson to see who gets the winner of Frank and Anthony.

I like Frankie for the W. I think he showed superior strategy for the 2nd-5th rounds, and amazing heart coming back after that first. I'm of the opinion that judges should favor the current champ if it comes to points anyway. I think if you want the belt you should TAKE it ala Shogun Rua in the 2nd match againts Machida. As a side note, I'm REALLY glad we didnt have one of those split second referee stoppages, I was worried the ref was going to call it quickly in that first round.

stuffing takedowns does not score points. If he was DEFENDING the takedown that means he was on the defensive. For a takedown to be scored it has to be completed and actually do something, if the guy pops back up right away it's a moot takedown. Defending and/or getting back up right away doesn't give points.

I called a draw too everybody laughed since it was a tittle fight. Guess who was right lol I think it was a good call

i would have gove it to frankie over the five rounds but i would have stopped it in the first he got smashed like a crab wasnt nice to see him floundering like a fish out of water

i put money on this fight with two buddies and me and another friend were for frankie while the other was for gray. By the beginning of the 5th round i felt it might be a draw so long as nothing crazy happened and sure enough it was. I'm cool with it even if I didn't cash in

A draw or Frankie winning it, i think Edgar had 3 if not 4 of the rounds and I dont think you can take a title in 1 round of dominance (unless its a ko or submission)

I'm perfectly ok with a draw cause 1, I used to spend my summers in Toms River, New Jersey and 2, I love the way Frankie fights and 3, rounds 3 and 5 were close. But I would have scored it.

R1 10-7 Maynard
- Because in the first half of the round Frankie didn't land that many strikes. And in the second half of the round, Frankie spent it either getting knocked down, something like 5 times, or trying to survive by covering up, running, or fighting defensively. Him bouncing around and fainting punches doesn't score points the way I see it. He offer no significant offense for the second half. Check the Fightmetric stats and you see what I mean. We've all seen fights stopped for much less. But, I'm ok with 10-8 1st round for Maynard and because the ref is more like to stop a fight way before the score ever gets to 10-7.

I Had Edgar Winning It. I Can See A Draw But Besides The First Round, I Don't Think Maynard Did Enough To Win The Fight. Edgar Came Back Amazing In The Second Round.
