I'll qualify this by saying I haven't seen Einstein's vid yet.

I always want the hooks or the body triangle to maintain position. I might get my arms around his neck and not be able to finish. He may have monster back defense and I just can't get the neck isolated to choke. Maybe my arms are gassed as shit and I couldn't choke a six-year-old girl. If I have the position secured with the hooks, I can transition to Spiderweb or go Chevy --> Twister/scissorlock/bouncer. If I have the position secured, I just have way more options.
