Don, I don't know your coach, who probably knows more than me, but moving up in weight?!? Two classes?!? Sounds irrational.

i have everlast shinguards . they do the job very well. at about half the price of hayabusa. got em at academy sports.
singlet. go with 155.
I was using the Rev Gear ultralights, they're not bad...kind of clunky though and defenitely not grappler friendly. The Rev Gear gel shinpads are sweet though, try them out!
Good luck!
got a pair of throw down elastic calve ones, they work great but I have big calves so its a little tight. people I train with have the tapout camo pads which seem to work great. but for grappling you definitely need something elastic prolly with a draw string. no velcro.
http://mmagearadvice.com/2010/09/10/...ma-shin-guard/ look pretty decent. It's not an area i've got much experience in so far,but These are the ones i've been looking at getting
:rolleyes:i hate amateur rules... bring the elbows and take away the shin guards
anyone know the current status on MMA in bama??? when are we gonna be allowed to have fights again? and are they gonna bring those stupid rules here as well???
