That guy IS a politician. Having said that, I enjoy his interviews and I do want to see him fight again.

Steroids get a bad rap in combative sports and from what I can tell, the use of steroids is greatly misunderstood. From what I have read, the greatest value of steroid use for MMA is in muscle recovery and for preventive health. More mat time and time in the gym, allowing you to cram a decades worth training into a 3-5 year time span.

Then again, that's also why you get 28 year old dudes with the blown knees of a veteran thai boxer.

Well the bottem line is sonnen was prescribed to testosterone by his docterand he got the testosterone for medical purposes. period.

He didn't disclose anything to the athletic commision. Look up the video of his CSAC hearing. He gets called out for never disclosing the info. Chael is awesome cause he just straight up lies to people in his interviews and shit without ever thinking of the truth getting out. It's pretty hilarious.

If you don't understand that testosterone is steroids than I can see that you missed the point. He was taking testosterone which is what steroids are. He didn't follow the rules and he lied about it which is why he got suspended. Now we will find out how his re-licensing process goes to see the real punishment.
