I only trained no-gi until I saw Renato. Now I know that the gi makes my no-gi better.
he was going to be the first bjj fighter in the ufc but refused to part with his black traditional gi (from japanese juijitsu traditions)
after rorion told him to where the white gi hence why royce was in ufc 1 not renato ............how do people not know bjj history
renato is one of the greatest jiujitsu players ever, 27 time mundials champ, word has it, that back in brazil, he would sub dudes with one hand in his gi. Terre was always my favorite jits player until i saw renato
he is so good at jui jitsu that I let my girlfriend have sex with him.

Renato is no joke. There hasn't been a fighter that trained with him who hasn't benefited from his tutelage. He may talk funny but he knows what he's speaking about.
