A little green does wonders. If I'm really sore I like to bathe in epsom salts, makes a big difference to me.
you should consider a deep tissue massage with a happy ending. just kidding, but seriously. i was just listening to joe hogan's podcast and he was talking about how he had Steve Maxwell, that guy who does those kettlebell workout vids, to help him with some personal training and he was saying when you do excercises like that (jiu jeesu included), you HAVE to get massages. might be something to consider.
btw you might see me throw in some Renato type vernacular in all of my posts. replacing r's with h's. pronounciation. I do this in real life amongst friends and at work and those who know nothing about 10th planet or Renato think i'm fucking crazy/weird. it's all about saying "that's jiu jitsu" to terrible and traumatic situations. Get in better shape. In the meantime eat REALLY well. Tons of protein for rebuilding and carbs for energy. As mentioned a good herb can help ease it a bit. Just keep at it, train smart though.
I have found that mixing preparation H with the lube you are using makes a HUGE difference.
