Kendall, just because you are a blue belt level after an accident doesn't mean you should demote yourself. No fuckin' way, change that shit back to purple, you earned that thing back then and it's yours.
Should I demote myself from Black Belt when I'm frail and old and brown belts tap me? HELL NO!
