I bet he would do it if it were GI cuz then he MIGHT have the upper-hand but my money is on no. I sure would love to see it go down tho Eddie would smash!

Hope he mans up and competes in one of the most watched jj fights in history. The publicity alone would help buffer the supposed money that he would lose. Crazy.

True Josh, this would be, without a doubt, the most watched Jiu-Jitsu match in history.
People who had never been into the game would tune in to watch this one.
It could possibly be reported on ESPN, Royler and Eddie would both get a huge
bump in the community for doing the fight. They would be household names.

And honestly, I wouldn't bash Royler if he lost, he is a legend.
I can absolutely see the side that he has everything to lose,
but if times are as tough as he makes them sound, he's got a lot
to gain also, just in name recognition and in school enrollment.

The real other side of the coin here is that if he loses, the Gracie
style will slowly start to dwindle away, it could have a huge impact
on more than Royler. It could impact the legendary name of the family.

Although they will always be seen as the guys who brought it to the world,
their dominance of schools worldwide would start to shrivel.
Royler has a world of opportunity and risk sitting on his shoulders,
shall you shrug Royler? or shall you stand up with this task on your shoulders?

The publicity this match would get could change Jiu Jitsu greatly by bringing it into Joe Schmoes home if it is televised. It would be a shame if Royler prevented the progress of the sport...you could always let Renato take his place. After all he won like; what 27 Mundials?
