Start taking random pills that look like antibiotics maybe it will clear it up!! You could also rub some tussin' on it.
Don't risk it. Go to a Dermatologist. Some general doctors may not know just by looking at it. I went to one general doctor who gave me ringworm medication. When it didn't clear up, I went to a Dermatologist who told me it was psorriasis, and that an antifungal wasn't the best treatment... Another time I went to a different general doctor and told him I had ringworm. He had a puzzled look and said, "Usually it's homeless people that get that." I had to explain that it's common for grapplers.
Staph is serious and can really mess you up if you don't get it diagnosed and treated quickly.
P.S....Doesn't seem that Doctors are no more accurate than mechanics were in the days before computer diagnostics?
Worst case scenario it goes systemic, tears a hole in your heart, and you die. Or they amputate your arm. I'd risk it
If u have a fever or feel sick go to the emergency room immediately. Otherwise go to urgent care. Doctors know what staff is. They see it all day every day. Don't listen to the fear mongering her. Staph is so common now that they diagnose it right away.
