I think what it comes down to for me is that the brazilian jiu jitsu community is pretty tight. having a tight community can do two different things when it comes to spreading information. it either spreads accurate information or it spreads inaccurate information. I think this is an example of inaccurate information being spread around a tight community. They take people for there word and think everything is true and it isn't. I don't fault people for saying things that are inaccurate, I didn't see it has him really attacking you Eddie. He didn't call you names, he just explained what he thought you were doing. Making up moves as your own. If he ever found out the truth, he would just say, "oh, well thats what I was told he was doing." Or atleast thats how I see it.
Now with that being said, its a shame that so much incorrect information is spread about you and the 10th planet system.
