If you're pulling your right arm out, you're not in IC anymore. That right arm is critical to the IC submission. Without the pressure on the neck and collarbone you don't have a submission and the right arm assists the squeeze. The only time you'd take your arm out is when you're transitioning to something else because he didn't tap from the IC (e.g. East Coast croc, Jellyfish, etc.).
thanks 4 everyone's feedback, i only got to experiment with it a few times and one cat said he couldn't speak cause it was so tight. I flow through the original MRG book and DVD like it's gospel, and experiment with different shit now an again. I'm like an infant again just learning the proper way to speak, and look to you guys for guidance! Especially without proper instruction. :o)
