i've never seen this thing being effective in high level grappling competition or in MMA, that's why I'm asking. Has anybody ever done any Rubber Guard in MMA or ADCC?

Rubber Guard opens you up to real hard punches, so it's useless for MMA.

ADCC? Are you kidding, competitors would never use the Rubber Guard, it's all about the basic armbar, that's 100% effective and will easily win you a match in the ADCC final against someone using that stupid high guard.

I can easily boob boom my way out of rubber guard into an omapolata.
