Jolanda, find someone who has successfully gone through your treatment of choice and listen carefully to them. In other words, do not spend time around people who have not successfully recovered from your exact circumstances.

Hang in there and hopefully they'll find some bone marrow for you! My day job (BMX - bicycle motocross) has been involved with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society since 1981, so I've heard lots of stories from BMX riders in the same boat. We do fundraising events each year and collectively raise over $250,000 each year towards leukemia research.
I agree with having faith and knowing that entities like the LLS are working hard to find a cure. Check out their website, as they typically have some good stories about other people with leukemia... http://www.lls.org/
