We had a guy who weighed over 300 that stopped by to roll. He got a lot of his taps via crush.
If you're careful you might be able to do some light rolls with guys who are sizable, but you'll have to be careful of your training partners.

I totally agree Dylan. I've done technique drills with the instructor and he's about 155 lbs. I never complete the *blank*-to-full-mount sweeps. I just mime them by stepping over him.
I realize my size is a very real issue that can hurt people, and take extraordinary care to ensure I don't hurt anyone.
I also know that by grappling with me or someone my size no one "wins". I don't get to grapple with same size opponents and neither do they so it's lose-lose in the end. However, I'm a hands on learner so I enjoy the grappling I do get to do, even if it's strictly learning sub defense. Haha! ;)
get in there sir and train your arse off adjust your diet ive dropped 50 pounds in 3 months just adjusting my diet and rolling like a beast high protein low carb and eat little meals 6 /7 times a day so you dont get hungry and go beast on the a box of butter fingers remove all temptation in your life and watch it fall away and all ways train even if your not in class join a gym lift weights do yoga any thing that you think will help improve your juijitsu and realise in class yes you are going to be heavy so be heavy my top game has improved dramatically when i stopped trying to be light on top
What city are you located in? I know some amateur MMA heavyweights in the Miami and Orlando area that are always looking for new sparring partners for jits or striking or wrestling.
Clinton - Thanks, brother.
Enrique - I'm in a small town south of Houston.
Hahaha! Poor guy!
That was just the end of the video. They went at it for a good long while, mostly in half guard. Johnny (little guy) couldn't even come close to having a closed guard, and Jeremy (big guy) was a college wrestler. After rolling him nobody else seemed to be that heavy anymore.
No doubt!
