Hahaha! :D Oh gawd..
Electric chair has no street applicability either. Because you can't punch the nuts like a zillion times from there.
I give up. Politics.. jees..
Dude, you should post this on youtube. People on youtube leave some stupid comments and I wish I was more knoledgable about JJ to prove them wrong but I can only think of a thing or 2.
Someone said that there is no one in the ufc that is successful with the ruber guard and a successful mma fighter. I told him the only person I can think of is alan belchor but Im not expert so go to the 10th planet JJ website in the nibiru forum (and i posted the link in brackets).
Don't read youtube comments. Problem solved.
Getting mounted takes no flexibility, skill, or strength whatsoever. So yes. It passes the filter.
These guys Remind me of those old school kung-fu guys, "If someone gets me in a RNC I will just rip there eye out". If Your throwing punches at someone that has 1/4 guard your not defending there advancements as well, so that whole doesn't pass the filter because it wouldn't work the exact same way in with different rules is retarded.
It wasn't awful but it was a bit biased.... I like those two but you can tell they don't fully understand the method to some of these moves.
I understand and do like how they tell people X is Sport, Y is street, but they seem to forget about the Z options where you can make Sport work on the Street by changing grips & postures a little.
But hey they're in a tough spot... Don't wanna speak bad about their uncle but still trying to be civil and not speak poorly of Eddie. I'll give it one thumb up.... They'll get the second after Ryron rolls with Eddie on film =)
This made me want to eat a Renergy breakfast sandwich
Personally I thought it was another good episode. Everything they do is slanted towards selling their system. Keeping that in mind, I thought it was a good breakdown of the event, hitting some things, though not everything. The filter stuff, what I took from that, was them saying why they teach something or not, not whether something is good or not. They don't teach the 10pjj style because it doesn't pass their filter, which they've had brainwashed into them. To Eddie's comment, I can't imagine they teach allowing yourself to get mounted either, so to me that's a non issue. But, hey, my names' not the one in their mouths, so...
lol, true. Joe Rogan said the same thing in his podcast. So I guess the gi should be for canadians lol. I'm canadian and I think no gi would be better than the gi for self defence in Quebec city. If its the summer and the guy is wearing a t shirt and shorts, your handles are gone, if its the winter or summer no gi won't change a thing.
really? what did he say? That reminds me, Ill post what the gracie douchbag said to me on facebook after I called him out like a year ago about what he said about 10th planet JJ that a monkey could defend that stuff or something like that. I can;t find it in eddies blog anymore though. And i the toolbar won't let me post it here.
Awesome reply Amir. Someone who's game I really respect has rolled with Rener and said he is phenomenal on the mat, but, I found the analysis in this video very disappointing. If I didn't know their last name, I would probably have no reservation in claiming that their analysis of Eddie's technique was incompetent .
The breakdown itself seemed a little bit biased, which to be expected, but the "filters" talk afterwards was some pretty passive-aggressive stuff
