The only certainty I can say about this situation is that the pastor making this prediction will continue to rake in the cash while his congregation continues to believe their pastor has some inside knowledge of the bible no one else can see. He will simply state that although he claimed he was 100% positive about May 21st 2011 @ 6:00Pm that he must of miscalculated and will go back to the drawing board to fix his math and will get back to everyone about the real end of the world. Sorry about all of your lapsed morgages, utility bills, car payments, and depleted savings due to this whole mix up.
I really hate these kind of people.
This shit happens every 10 or so years, some wack says he figured something out and turns out he didnt.
Exactly. It's happened SO many times before, you'd think people would catch on by now. Just in my lifetime I can think of several "the world is gonna end" prophecies whose prophets were "100% sure" they knew exactly when it would be. The time and date passes uneventfully and they go back to the drawing board confident that this time they'll get it right. And somebody will listen to them every time.

Every point of light in this image is a galaxy composed of billions of stars. Sometimes I just stare at this image (the Hubble Deep Field) and think about just how monumentally small we really are...
...And we really, really think we're the pinnacle of all creation?
Looks like Homeboy proved me right. Already re-did his math and the world is set to end now on October 21st.

Also an article with a few of the horrible stories to come about because of this guy...

He didn't change his math, apparently he already believed that the world would end Oct 21st, but we were all lead to believe that something physical would happen May 21st and he is changing his story to that being a spiritual judgement day where nobody can be saved now. All of this has zero scriptual backing.
