There's a difference between an excuse and a reason. Silva needs no excuse for winning. But there is a reason why he was clearly not performing to the best of his abilities. That's the reason.


I think we'll have an opportunity to see what a healthy Anderson can do against a non TRT Sonnen when he fights Okami. If Okami wins or puts on a performance similar to Sonnen's, then I'll admit the rib injury is BS. Until then I'm gonna say having popped cartilage in your rib is a good reason to put on a less than optimum perfomance. And I'm far from an Anderson nut rider. I'm just thinking logically.
